My Pen Pal

My pen pal is a person who writes to me every day. He lives in the United States and I live in China. We have been writing to each other for two years now.

Our friendship started when we were in middle school. We both loved reading and writing, so we decided to exchange letters. We would write about our favorite books, our hobbies, and our dreams. It was a great way to keep in touch with each other even though we lived far apart.

Now that we are in college, our letters have become more personal. We talk about our experiences, our hopes and dreams, and our struggles. We also share funny stories and memories from our daily lives.

I am grateful for my pen pal because he has helped me through some tough times. When I was feeling down, he would send me encouraging words and remind me of all the good things in my life. And when I was happy, he would share in my joy and celebrate with me.

In addition to being a friend, my pen pal is also my mentor. He has taught me valuable lessons about life and how to be a better person. He has encouraged me to pursue my dreams and to never give up on myself.
